For the 2021-22 School Year, Tatamagouche Regional Academy came together to raise an incredible $2,453.85 for cancer research for our Terry Fox School Run. The Terry Fox Foundation is so grateful for our commitment and dedication. It is wonderful to see that Terry continues to inspire millions of students across the country. If you have not donated and would still like to contribute, our school donation link is still open at http://www.terryfox.ca/TatamagoucheRegionalAcademy#TryLikeTerry

Notice for Students Not Returning to School
Date: September 2020
The Province of Nova Scotia believes that it is safe for all students to return to school at this time. There is a plan in place for both increases in cases of COVD-19 locally and provincially. The first plan includes partial closure of schools to grades 9-12, where these students would work from home, supported by online learning. If there is a total closure of schools, then all students would be working from home using online and, possibly some offline learning systems for those with poor or no internet connectivity.
Both of these plans include online components and work being provided to students at home.
The full return-to-school option does not provide for work packages to be sent home at this time.
Should you wish to keep your child home during this time, you can register with the homeschooling department at https://www.ednet.ns.ca/homeschooling/
Please contact the school office if:
-
you have a child who is unable to return to school due to a diagnosed medical condition
-
you are unsure about sending your child back to school, and would like to discuss these options
You are welcome to re-enroll your child at anytime by contacting the office on 902 657 6235 or email to Heidi at [email protected]
